Using Civics Go
Civics Go is the web app at civicsgo.app and the Civics Go iPhone app. You may use it for your own study. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer it or its content. The iPhone app is also licensed to you under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, together with these terms.
Civics Go Pro
All civics study in Civics Go is free. Civics Go Pro adds the full practice interview, the N-400 rehearsal, all reading and writing sentences and unlimited hands-free listening. You can try each of them free first.
There are three ways to buy it: pay once ($29.99 in the US), which unlocks Pro for good, or a monthly ($4.99) or yearly ($19.99) subscription.
Buying on the web
- Civics Go Pro on civicsgo.app is sold by Polar Software, Inc., our reseller and merchant of record. Polar takes the payment, adds sales tax or VAT where it applies, and its buyer terms apply to the purchase. Prices are in US dollars.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price until you cancel. Polar charges your card at the start of each new period.
- Cancel any time in the app's Settings > Manage subscription, or from the link in your Polar receipt. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Pro is unlocked in the browser you bought it in. To use it in another browser, choose Restore purchases in Settings and enter the email address you paid with; we email you a code.
14-day refund on the web
If Civics Go Pro isn't right for you, email hello@civicsgo.app within 14 days of a payment and we will refund that payment in full, with no questions asked. This covers paying once and each subscription payment, including renewals. The refund goes back to the card you paid with through Polar, usually within 5 to 10 business days, and Pro ends when it is refunded.
Buying in the iPhone app
- Pay once unlocks Pro for good on your Apple Account. Monthly and yearly subscriptions are charged to your Apple Account when you confirm, and renew automatically for the same period and price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel a subscription in your iPhone's Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- Prices in other countries are set by Apple in local currency and may include tax. Refunds for purchases made in the iPhone app are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Use Restore purchases in the app's Settings to get Pro back on a new iPhone with the same Apple Account.

The civics questions come from USCIS, which publishes them for the public. Explanations, translations and recordings in the app were written or made for Civics Go. We work to keep them correct, but mistakes can happen. Please tell us if you find one.
